These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the text messaging program operated by Build A Better Web Site LLC (also trading as Build A Better Website). They apply in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Program Description

Build A Better Web Site LLC sends conversational and notification text messages to clients and prospective clients who have opted in. Messages include appointment reminders and confirmations, account and project notifications, and replies to questions you have asked us. This is not a marketing or promotional program; we do not send advertising texts.

How to Opt In

You opt in through the web form at buildabetterweb.site/text-updates. On that page you enter your name and, if you want to receive texts, your mobile number, then check a consent checkbox that is unchecked by default and not required to submit the form. The checkbox reads:

“I agree to receive recurring text messages from Build A Better Web Site LLC at the mobile number provided (appointment reminders, account and project notifications, and replies to my questions). Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.”

When you check the box and submit the form, we record your opt-in together with the date and the mobile number you provided. This web form is the only way we enroll a number in our messaging program.

Consent Is Not Required

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Build A Better Web Site LLC. You can submit the form, and use all of our services, without opting in.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your project activity and your conversations with our team. Typically this is 1–5 messages per conversation.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, or STOPALL to any message you receive from us. You will then receive a single confirmation message and no further texts. Reply START to resubscribe.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy and Your Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The categories of information we do not share for marketing include phone numbers, opt-in status, message content, and text history.

We share mobile information only with the messaging provider that delivers the messages on our behalf, strictly to operate the program. For our full privacy practices, see our Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

We retain phone numbers and consent records for as long as you remain opted in. After you opt out, we retain a record of your opt-out solely to honor your request and prevent further messages.

Children

Our messaging program is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect mobile information from children.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updates are posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
